Jason Akana is a Los Angeles based producer and
multi-instrumentalist. He has composed the music for four seasons of the
hit TV comedy series ‘Tacoma FD’, Searchlight Picture’s feature film ‘Quasi’, and most
recently, the animated feature ‘Mars’ debuting at the Tribeca Film Festival this
Summer.
His diverse work, an engaging mix of traditional orchestral and modern pop, has also
been featured in pilots for MTV, Comedy Central, as well as in various short films, web
series, live productions and podcasts.
He lives near Venice Beach with his wife Gaby, children Izzo, Leo, and studio dog
Lani.
